WHO WE ARE

Welcome.  My name is Mickey Dearden, I have been in the flooring industry for over 40 years as a manufacturer, distributor, installer, and consultant. Our company, Artistic Floor Surfaces LLC, was formed to continue the creative work in the flooring industry by Artistic Surfaces , a company owned by my friend and associate Harvey Namm.  Harvey and my former company Floormax, Inc, jointly ventured many terrazzo projects together such as the Amway Center here in Orlando FL., San Francisco BMW, Harley Davidson Daytona Beach, and many others too numerous to detail.

Harvey and I began negotiations for me to purchase Artistic Surfaces, Inc. as he became ill in 2020 and wanted to sell his business. Unfortunately, before we could conclude this arrangement, Harvey passed away. The flooring industry lost one of its pioneers, and I lost a friend and business associate.

We started Artistic Floor Surfaces to continue the legacy and work of Harvey Namm, and his company. We employ the same highly trained installation personnel , the required equipment, and same management as Artistic Surfaces used for the past 35 years in the industry. In order to grow this business, we have partnered with Senate Flooring, a Canadian Flooring company with many years in the business of installing terrazzo and other floor surfaces.
